GOD’S HEARTBEAT…AND OURS

What does God really care about? What is He really up to in this world? We don’t have to guess, because God has told us! His passion is to make disciples of Jesus (Matthew 28:19). He calls us to worship Him, to love each other, and to influence others for Him! We have spent this past year trying to align our heartbeat with God’s. As a result, we have written some statements that will guide our church into the future.

OUR VALUES

The Bible and prayer is the foundation for all we do. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Colossians 4:2

Life change occurs best in the context of authentic and loving relationships.

God calls every Christian to use his or her spiritual gifts to serve others.

God’s truth must be communicated with biblical integrity and cultural relevance. Acts 17:16-34

We are willing to change any structure, strategy, or style as long as we do not compromise spiritual integrity. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

The church most visibly shows the love of Christ by caring for the poor, sick, lonely, and hurting. Galatians 2:10

Excellence honors God and inspires others. Colossians 3:2
